A well-known team of indie developers got a project called ROUNDS. And their brainchild quickly became a real hit. But first things first.

Fighting to the Last Man Standing

ROUNDS is a nuclear mix of such genres as roguelike, 2D platformer, arcade and shooter. The emphasis in the project is on the competition between the players. Moreover, users are available as a battle on the network, and the battles for one computer on the same screen. In the second case, the main thing is to divide the keyboard into several sectors for each participant in the battle. After all, you can fight as a 1x1, and four in Deathmatch mode.

Landfall, a Swedish company, is responsible for the development and distribution of the game. This studio has given the world such hits as Clustertruck, TABS and Stick Fight. The game starts with creating your own character. Users have dozens of ways to customize their own character. The transformation of the avatar begins with choosing a unique nickname, shape and color. After creating your character and endowing him with abilities you need to choose the arena for the next battle. There are a few dozen maps in the game. They differ from each other by the presence of different obstacles, blocks and other objects. Some of the objects can move. For example, blocks attached to ropes swing from side to side. And they can be used to gain an advantage in battle.

In one battle, 2 to 4 users. The battle takes place in Deathmatch mode. The session lasts until one character remains alive. He becomes the winner and receives additional enhancements and achieves.
