City of Eyes- Cyclops

I was attracted to City of Eyes- Cyclops because of the amazing art, but it is the world, story, and characters that kept me interested. This is a lewd visual novel style of game that has a bit of puzzle solving and critical thinking in it as well. The game does have a demo you can check out, which I would advise that you do. However, this is one of my favorite lewd games of the year so far and I think that by the time the end of the year comes, this is going to be on my games of the year list!

Not The Cyclops You Are Thinking of!

I saw the title of City of Eyes- Cyclops and thought for sure it was going to be a fantasy style story with a big angry and probably horny cyclops. That is not the case at all. The city is actually called Cyclops and this place is a kind of fantasy steampunk type world that has seen it become the leader of an Industrial Revolution and that is where our main character, Dr. Etsu lives and he is one of the most interesting protagonists that you will play as this year.

A Special Set Of Eyes!

I do not want to go into too much detail about the story of City of Eyes- Cyclops as it truly is amazing. Basically, Dr. Etsu was given a special power that lets him see into the bodies of his patients and it has made him the best doctor in the city. He was approached in his dreams by a beautiful woman called Angus who suffers from an illness and Dr. Etsu is really taken by her and vows to try his best to help her. It is very well told and I found myself completely sucked into this world and these characters and the stuff that they had going on.

Lending A Helping Hand

As well as the stuff with Angus, City of Eyes- Cyclops has many different characters that you will engage with as you progress through the story. From helping a detective to trying to help a homeless girl. It is all interesting stuff and while there are different story paths, you feel like it is all heading in one direction and as there are different endings, you will want to play through this more than once. I guess you could argue that it is not doing anything radically different in the world of lewd visual novel/adventure style games, but with the story being so strong, I think that it more than makes up for it.

Getting You In The Front Door

While City of Eyes- Cyclops has a fantastic story and gameplay that I found to be quite engaging. It is the visuals that I am sure will get most people to give the game a try. This is just pure eye candy as the visuals are striking! The kind of visuals that capture your attention right away. There are plenty of lovely looking female characters in the game, but I think that they have done a very good job of making the main two ladies really special, plus the one main girl (no spoilers here) is one of the most beautiful women I have seen in a lewd game in some time. The XXX content does have some stuff l am not a huge fan of, like tentacles, but for the most part, they knock it out of the park.

Pros:

• The main love interest is fantastic
• All of the characters are very well written
• This is one of the best looking lewd games of the year
• The writing is very engaging

Cons:

• As I write this the full game is not on Steam
• Some of the XXX stuff was not for me
