Stronger Bonds

I was really not sure what to expect from Stronger Bonds, but this gay furry visual novel has ended up being one of the surprise games of the year for me. I had never heard of this until the developer dropped the most recent update and I have to say that I have been completely captivated by this game. It is a very story driven kind of game with complex and interesting characters that I grew to care about the more I played the game. Plus, the big hunky furry dudes mean that you have some nice eye candy while taking in the story.

A New Police Chief

The main characters in Stronger Bonds are Samson and Harry. Samson has just moved to a large city where he is going to be the new chief of police. Moving from his small town to a big city is going to be tough, but Samson knows all about tough! You see he lost his wife, he had a falling out with his sons and he became very depressed. It looked really bad for a while, but his younger brother Harry managed to help him out of it and he is going to try and assist Samson with his new life in the big city.

A New Gay Life

There is a part in the story of Stronger Bonds where Harry tells Samson that he will be gay in a week and that is pretty much what we have here. We have Samson trying to live a good life and Harry watching out for him. However, his four sons are also part of the story and the relationship between them is going to be a big part of the game. Honestly, I was completely captivated by the story here. Yes, it has a lot of XXX stuff going on, but I found Samson to be a very interesting character and I am very excited to see where the developer is going to take his story.

Moving On

I think that the themes of trying to live your life and be happy are front and center of what Stronger Bonds is trying to do. There are some very interesting and well written characters in this game and as you progress through the story, even before you have to make a choice, you get an idea in your head of how you want Samson to live. It is great stuff and the fact that these are furry characters does not matter at all as they are very “human” with their emotions and behavior.

Strong Hunky Dudes

The character designs in Stronger Bonds are awesome. Samson is a big buff burly rhino dude and he looks fantastic! Seeing him get it on with an equally big buff bear is a super fun scene. The whole game has this very high quality cartoon to it and I think that the characters are able to feel so much more real thanks to how expressive they are along with the writing. Of course, if furry type characters are not usually something you are into, you may not get into it quite as much.

Pros:

• Samson is such an interesting character
• There is a lot of depth to the story here
• It is one of the better gay furry visual novels that I have played
• You will love the big hunky gay furry dude!

Cons:

• You will need to like gay furry stuff to get into this
• I hope that the next update is not too far away!
