Naruto: Family Vacation

As Naruto: Family Vacation is a lewd parody of one of my favorite anime shows of all time, there was no way that I was not going to give this game a try. I would say that at its core, what we have here is a lewd visual novel and I think that this game does many things great. I think that with a bit more refinement that this could end up being one of the better lewd parodies that have been made taking on this particular show.

The Ultimate Ninja Storm!

I know that some may see Naruto: Family Vacation and say to themselves “ANOTHER ONE!!!” as there sure does seem to be a ton of lewd parodies based on this anime. I would say that it is probably between this and Dragon Ball Z in regards to which anime has the most lewd parodies. Anyway, I think one of the things that this game has going on that is very appealing to a fan like me is that this was clearly made by someone that has a lot of love of the anime and I think that they have treated it with a lot of respect, well as much respect as a XXX parody can offer of course.

Family Drama With Ninjas!

Now, I will say that the story Naruto: Family Vacation is telling does feel like it needs a little bit of work. The idea is that Naruto has taken the family on vacation and wants them to have a great time. However, there are numerous villains and other obstacles that are going to get in the way of this. While the overall story may not be the most exciting. I will say that the appearance of so many Naruto character such as, Tsunade, Himawari, and Hinata to name a few give the game a bit more of an authentic feel. Plus, I was always excited for another character to show up no matter how big a role they would have.

A Real Sense Of Familiarity

If you are someone that is a big fan of the anime, Naruto: Family Vacation is sure to give you a Deja Vue hit. The reason I say this is that most of the visuals that you will be seeing in the game are rips from the anime. Now, this is both a good and bad thing. It is good because it gives the game a very authentic look to it. However, for some reason, it is like they have used rips from a bootleg DVD as the picture quality is not all that great. It is not horrible, but it certainly does not look like it is HD. The lewd content here is not animated, but it is still pretty hot. I am not for sure certain, but I am sure I have seen some of the lewd Naruto artwork in the game before too so like the main story, perhaps this is taken from elsewhere too?

The Secret To A Great Vacation

As a lewd visual novel Naruto: Family Vacation is one of the more linear that I have played. I will say that the game does give you plenty of choices that you can make as you progress. However, it always felt like the game was determined to make sure that I was going in the right direction and that was something I thought was kind of cool. I have also heard that there are different endings too, but the choices seem so determined to keep you on a certain path that I think I would have a bit of trouble picking choices that seem like they are wrong.

Pros:

• The use of real Naruto footage was kind of cool
• While not animated, the lewd content is still pretty hot
• The game makes it easy to know what the right path to stay on is
• I am sure Naruto fans will get a kick out of this

Cons:

• The story is very linear and never really gets going
• They could have used higher quality footage for the visuals of the game
