MY HENTAI FANTASY

Even though MY HENTAI FANTASY still has a fair ways to go as the version I played is still in very early access. It is shaping up to be a solid lewd sandbox game. The visuals and animation are what will grab your attention first. However, I have to say that I think they have something here with the story and I am excited to see how they are going to develop it, especially with all of the recognizable characters that they have going on here.

That Old Chesnutt

I know that the whole amnesia loss of memory thing has been done to death in lewd games, but MY HENTAI FANTASY has something rather unique going on with it. We play a young man who is attending university and his father just so happens to be a very rich man. We have all these cute girls around us, but we have no idea who they are or what our relationship with them is. Granted, this may make you roll your eyes at first, but they have laid the groundwork for a very interesting mystery here and I am interested to see how it plays out.

Fleshing Them Out One Character At A Time

I would say that the big “gimmick” that MY HENTAI FANTASY has going on is that many of the characters are based on popular anime and gaming babes such as Nami for example. However, in the early build of the game I played, many of the characters were rather one dimensional. Yet, the step sister character is very, very well written and adds a great deal to the story. I think that if she is an indication of how fleshed out the characters are going to be when this is all said and done, it will make for a very interesting and fun lewd story.

Finding The Right Path

One area where I feel MY HENTAI FANTASY still needs a lot of work is the gameplay. This is a lewd sandbox game and as of writing, it is rather buggy. The game wants you to do certain things at a certain time, but I ended up soft locking the game on more than one occasion as I tried to speed things up. Things are rather slow paced at the moment and there is not a great deal to do. I think they may have been better just going the lewd visual novel route until they had all of the sandbox elements worked out. Right now, I can see the slow pace and clunky interface turning some people off.

Hentai Babes For All Tastes!

While I feel that the gameplay and story of MY HENTAI FANTASY still needs a fair bit of work, I am loving what they are doing with the visuals and sound right now. The game has some awesome dream babes for us to check out, there is this one buffy bunny chick that I think I am in love with! Not only are there girls of all different styles in this game, but the animation even in this early state is very well done. The biggest surprise of the game is the sound. It has a mostly original soundtrack, but the main characters are all voice acted which is tremendous!

Pros:

• The MC has an interesting mystery about them
• I liked the clever use of popular characters
• The visuals in the game even in early access are fantastic
• The sound design is very high-quality

Cons:

• As I write this, the game is rather buggy due to being so unfinished
• The sandbox elements need a fairly large amount of work
