Colony City 27

Having spent a bunch of time with the demo of Colony City 27λ I really wanted to get my thoughts on the lewd roguelite deck builder out there. This is a very highly polished game that has a AAA presentation to it. It has a cool sci-fi setting/story and it is shaping up to be one of the premier lead games of 2024 for me. Granted, the game is not fully complete so how the gameplay and story hold up as far as the long haul goes, I cannot say, but it does look very promising so far.

The Cosmic Order

The setting of the game is Earth in the future and I think that if you are into sci-fi, you will probably get a real kick out of the story Colony City 27λ is telling. The Universal Security Bureau are the ones who are in charge of maintaining order in the cosmos. Think of them as the intergalactic FBI and you will be on the right track. Our main character is an inspector called, Youzi, and her boyfriend is a captain, to help him and also to do our duty, we are leaving Earth to take on a series of dangerous missions.

So Many Enemies!

The story of the game then sees us heading to a space colony, hence the name, Colony City 27λ. In this space colony, there are three very different species that call this place home. We have the humans, the tentacles, and the machines! Each one has their own thing going on and it is up to us to try and get the bad seeds! An interesting twist to the story is in regards to Youzi trying to stay strong and faithful to her boyfriend. As this is a lewd game, I am pretty sure you already know just how well that is going to go for her!

My Deck Is Bigger Than Your Deck

If you enjoy deckbuilding roguelike games, Colony City 27λ is probably going to be something you have a lot of fun with. You have a whole bunch of skills and you are basically building up your deck as you progress through the game. Sometimes you get lucky and get good stuff, other times not so much. Combat is quick paced, fun, and engaging and I found myself always wanting to get into the next battle so I could potentially get some cool and new skills to add to my arsenal. From what I have read, there are going to be several endings, this along with the fact that there are tons of skills means you have plenty of reason to play through this multiple times.

The Next Generation Of Lewd Art

As I write this Colony City 27λ we are in quite early 2024 and I have to say that I have been blown away by how good this current crop of lewd games is when it comes to the visuals. This game is stunning! The sci-fi setting is great and even as someone who is not into tentacles, there are humans and toys here for our heroine to get ravaged by. The animation is very well done, but it is the facial expressions the artist has given her that truly get you immersed in the XXX stuff that you are seeing. I know that this style of game is not for everyone, but the visuals are so impressive that you have to at the very least try out the demo.

Pros:

• I liked our main heroine, she was tough, sexy, and cool
• The sci-fi story being told here is interesting
• The deckbuilding combat is so much fun and easy to get into
• It has some of the most amazing XXX art you will see this year!

Cons:

• Roguelike deckbuilding games are not for everyone
• Tentacles are never going to get my motor running!
