Afterimage takes place in the vast world of Engardin, created by a supreme, all-powerful deity and is filled with many natural landmarks to explore. You will play the brave adventurer who must explore this mystical world, encounter fantastic creatures, and uncover the secrets of Engardin.

There is a seamless semi-open world with over fifteen different areas for players to explore. All of the environments and backgrounds are beautifully hand-drawn with exquisite designs and amazing visual effects, creating a unique and immersive environment for you to enjoy. The intuitive controls make it easy to navigate through the world, while the traditional metroidvania gameplay provides plenty of challenges and surprises along the way.

Combat

One of the most exciting features of Afterimage is its combat system. Choose from a diverse selection of weapons, each with its own special attacks and upgrade paths on the talent tree. You can also unlock over ten different character abilities to aid in your battles. With over 150 varieties of enemies and numerous bosses to defeat, you must develop your own combat style to become the greatest warrior of the land.
