Man, I so wanted A Housewife’s Healing Touch – Pure Love Route to be a game that I loved! I saw the title screen and loved the high-quality style of art that the game had and with a fantasy/magic kind of story, I was sure that this was a lewd visual novel that was going to be perfect for me. Now, while the game may not be a 10/10 kind of experience, I am still glad that I played through it as it was a decent experience and I wanted to share my thoughts on the game with you good people today.

A Magic Story About Coming Of Age

The story of A Housewife’s Healing Touch – Pure Love Route is probably one of the things I liked best about it, to be honest with you. Our main character is a young guy called Shion and he is supposed to have magical powers like most people in this land, however, they have never come! This leads him to moving in with a new magical family to help him get his powers out and the main lady taking charge here is a super hot lady called, Rui. The story is pretty linear and you can see where it is going right from the start, but I still thought that it had some charm.

Making It Your Own

As A Housewife’s Healing Touch – Pure Love Route is a lewd visual novel game, you may think that you have a lot of choices to make. Well, that is not really the case here. You have two main ways that the story can go, you can go the NTR route or not, I decided against this, but to be real, there were not as many choices to be made as I would have liked. There are a few little bits of “sandbox” style gameplay where you can click on an area or menu, but I do feel that calling this gameplay is a bit of a stretch.

What We Are All Here For

It was the first image of the main lady in A Housewife’s Healing Touch – Pure Love Route, Rui that made me want to play this game, and let me tell you, I was not disappointed… much. Rui, is beautiful and she is drawn so well that she has become a major favorite of mine.

However, for as great as the art in the game is, the XXX content is very tame, to start with scenes are censored, but even then things are not very graphic at all, plus there is no animation! There is voice acting which is great, but I would have much preferred to have seen Rui actually move than talk.

Pros:

• I thought that Rui was very attractive
• I liked the fantasy story that was told here
• The game is very easy to get into
• It does have two different story routes for you to play through

Cons:

• Much of the good stuff is censored which is frustrating
• I wish that we could see Rui actually move!
