Have you ever screamed at the sight of a spider, and promptly wrecked the whole room trying to kill it? In Kill It With Fire 2, you’ll be bringing those spider-squashing skills to the gaming world.

In Kill It With Fire 2, spiders have taken over the entire multi-verse. Your job is to squash them so they don’t continue to spread. These spiders have evolved since the ones we knew from Earth days however, and will definitely keep you on your toes with their terrifying abilities.

4-Player Co-Op

Games like this are best played with others, and the developers of Kill It With Fire 2 understand that. They offer a multiplayer option, with up to 4 people in a game at once. This allows you to hang out with your friends while doing what you’ve always wanted to do—shoot an actual flamethrower at a tiny spider.

An Improvement on the Original

Kill It With Fire 2 is the sequel to the original game, Kill It With Fire. Kill It With Fire was a smash hit that received positive reviews from nearly everyone who played it. The only thing most people complained about was the game length. At just 7 hours or so of gameplay, the original game was simply way too short.

Kill It With Fire 2 brings all the best of the original game, improves on it, and gives you more of that spider-squashing gameplay you crave. It is truly an example of a time when a developer looked at a communities wants and needs, and made a new game based off of that.

The multi-player mode we discussed earlier is one such improvement. Although not a complaint against the original, many players wished to be able to play with their friends, and in this sequel the wish was granted!

Some Issues

Although the game is fantastic, a few minor issues did crop up. The game sometimes glitches, with spiders not being attackable when they were on certain surfaces. Other spiders would be unable to attack, and simply wander around after you during the game. These are minor issues however, and the developer has a great reputation for fixing bugs quickly. It’s likely that these issues with the game will be fixed in due time.

Similar Graphics

The graphics in Kill It With Fire 2 are also very similar to the original game. The graphics are low-poly, but somehow crisper and cleaner than the original. This is a good thing, because changing graphics when players are used to a certain style can be shocking. These new graphics fit well with the familiar theme of the game, and also work for keeping the spiders from looking too realistic for those genuinely arachnophobic players. In this situation, the low-poly style art is perfect for the game.
