Howdy folks, Mumasekai – Lost in the World of Succubi is a game that I am very excited to talk to you about. This is a lewd action platformer and honestly, it is one of the best I have played in quite some time. I cannot say for sure, but I do think that the developer is still hard at work on this so please keep that in mind. Anyway, this turned out to be a whole lot of fun. Granted I had no idea what the heck was going on, but it was a wild, cute, and horny ride that I was happy to be on.

Just A Guy In A World Of Hot Monsters!

The only real problem that I had with Mumasekai – Lost in the World of Succubi was that the game was all in Japanese. I really hope that they do an English translation of this as I can tell from the visuals alone that this game has a sense of humor about it. From what I could make out, we play as a young man that is trying to fight his way through this creepy ass place that just so happens to be the home of numerous sexy succubi that want to use our body for their own pleasure…. Hey, if I get to pick the way I go, that is 100 percent it!

Fighting Your Way Through

I found myself really enjoying the gameplay of Mumasekai – Lost in the World of Succubi even though I did not know what was going on. It is an action platformer with a bit of Metroidvania about it. Your wee guy controls really well, he can run, and jump and he has this dash roll thing that can make you go through enemies, it is essential that you get used to using this. You explore and fight your way through each stage, fighting enemies and finding coins as you go. You have offensive and passive items that you can utilize and you can use the coins that you find to get new gear. As I did not understand any of the text I kind of just had to figure my way through it, but that was not a problem as it feels like a 16-bit era action game.

Who's The Boss?

One of the most impressive aspects of Mumasekai – Lost in the World of Succubi was the boss battles. Out of all the lewd games I have had the pleasure to play over the years, this one is right up there close to the top when it comes to boss battles. My favorite is the spider succubi who despite having spider legs has a rocking rack that bounces, plus she kills someone right before the fight who looks just like Kirby! There is a giant Succubi that you fight who I think is the main one, hitting her big bouncy boobs the order of the day there. Each boss fight was a blast and actually, the boss fights were my favorite part of the game!

Pixelated Naughtiness

I adore the charming pixel art that Mumasekai – Lost in the World of Succubi has. I love a lewd game that has some fun pixel art and that is exactly what we have here. Now, if I am being honest, nothing here turned me on or anything like that. However, it has big boobs, hot succubi and it was just so pleasant to look at the whole time I was playing it. If I did have to be critical I would say that I wish the stages had a bit more going on as some of them can look a tad on the empty side.

I had a feeling that I was going to enjoy Mumasekai – Lost in the World of Succubi, but this completely surpassed my expectations. I can easily see myself playing through this again and I pray to some kind of succubi goddess that this gets an English translation! If the story is as fun and charming as I think it could be, I could honestly see myself giving this game a perfect score as I had that much fun with it!

Pros:

This has some of the best boss battles of any lewd game
It has a really fun action platformer gameplay style
I loved the cute pixel art graphics
Any game that has a bunch of hot succubi is cool in my book!

Cons:

As of writing, there is not an English translation
I wish some of the levels had a bit more stuff going on in the background

I came across Lost in the World of Succubi by complete accident and I was intrigued as soon as I saw it. I was surprised at how this was recommended to me on a popular video streaming site and I was so interested, that I had to track this thing down and check it out. What we basically have here is a lewd action platformer style of game that deals with anime looking succubi that want to use us for their own sexual needs. It is a hard game to play, but I managed to get through as much as I could and wanted to write a mini review about it.

The Land Of The Rising Sun!

Before we dive into this thing, Lost in the World of Succubi as I write this is all in Japanese. I am not talking about a mixture of Japanese and English, every single part of this game is in Japanese. I was recommended the game via YouTube and by watching others play it, I was able to get through the game and figure out the basics of what to do. That is actually what I would recommend that anyone who is interested in playing the game do.

I Am Sure I Have Seen You Before!

The people who have made Lost in the World of Succubi also made another lewd game that I liked called, Super Mamono Sisters which was also an action platformer and I had a lot of fun with that game. If you have played that, this is right around that same kind of style. Anyway, the reason I bring that game up is because there is so little information about this game that is in English so I think if you enjoyed their other game that does have an English translation, you will probably enjoy this as it is a similar kind of thing from what I experienced.

Something To Do With The Succubi!

As the version of Lost in the World of Succubi I have played was all in Japanese, I have no idea of what was going on in the story. From what I could figure out (and I could be completely wrong here) we play as a young man who finds himself in an eerie place, like a castle and we have to navigate our way through it looking out for the various succubi that call this place home. Now, I am thinking that there could be a twist here where the succubi do not just bang us, we can turn the tables and also use them for our own sexual needs.

We Need More Succubi!

I know that the version of Lost in the World of Succubi I played was not fully complete (well I think that it was not) however, they do have something here as far as the gameplay goes. Our hero moves along quickly and we can break down chests and find stuff like weapons and items to use. I found our character to control really well, the whole game was zippy and responsive and I came across a few different boss battles that required I make use of the roll/dodge mechanic that the game had. I do have to say that I feel like the game needed more enemies. The succubi that are here are awesome, but I feel like there were many parts of the game where it felt like there were several screens with no enemies.

I know that I have not been able to dive into a whole lot of detail here about Lost in the World of Succubi, but that is because I could not get past the language barrier. Still, I was interested in the game based on the developer and the various YouTube videos I saw to give it a try and I am glad that I did. I enjoyed my time here and I hope that the developer makes a translated version as they did with Super Mamono Sisters.

Pros:

I liked the anime style of the game
The gameplay is fast paced and fun
The dodge/roll mechanic adds some depth to the game
Their other game was fun and this is very similar

Cons:

The version I played had zero English so I had trouble getting through parts of it
I have not heard anything in regards to this getting an English translation
