Ghosts are haunting the Drabwell Ranch and a crazy pirate is running Deadman's Cove. It's up to Shaggy and Scooby, our fearful heroes, to get to the bottom of things and solve these two mysteries.

Along with help from Freddy, Velma, and Daphne, you'll have to guide Shag and Scoob through all kinds of scary scenes, collecting clues and trying to figure out what's going on, and maybe picking up a Scooby Snack here and there! By finding necessary objects and solving various puzzles, you'll be able to solve both mysteries in no time, if you don't get spooked, that is!

Scooby-Doo Mystery is a point-and-click (or point-and-press button rather) adventure featuring two playable episodes of a typical Scooby-Doo cartoon.

Blake's Hotel – Daphne's Uncle Blake has invited the gang over to his hotel for a ski weekend. Upon reaching the hotel they learn that the ghost of the Ancient Chieftan is scaring all the customers away, as he isnt happy about a hotel being built on his burial grounds. Soon Uncle Blake is kidnapped, and its up to Scooby and Shaggy to find clues and hunt this ghost down.

Ha Ha Carnival – The gang arrives at an almost-deserted carvinal, looking for some fun. Soon enough Fred, Daphne and Velma get trapped in a pond when they go out in one of the rides. Not only that, someone has broken the rollercoaster tracks. Then an evil looking phantom clown has Scooby and Shaggy being chased all around the carnival. Another mystery for the pair to solve.

Both mysteries have Scooby and Shaggy on their own, collecting clues and putting them together. You control Shaggy mostly while Scooby just keeps him company. The game interface involves walking around and/or choosing actions from a menu and using them with objects.

While maybe not always the most fluid all the time, it is a lot more faithful to the old 1960s/1970s cartoon. Especially the backgrounds, which are well done, and represent each location beautifully, and colorfully. The sprites are good, and as they move about the area, grow and shrink to add a touch of realism to the environments. There are some short cutscenes too, which are rather impressive, like the entrances to each of the two mysteries as you start one out (with the gang in the mystery machine), and at times, encounters with the main villain of the mystery who's always scaring people off for whatever reasons. The gang is all faithfully captured in this game.

All the classic jokes from the show are in this game, from Shaggy's unmatched hunger (except Scooby doesn't eat it all before Shaggy gets a bite)to the classic “door gag” (you remember, monster chases our gang, they go through another door, soon they are on the ceiling, chasing the monster themselves, ect).
