In Micro Machines 2 you get to drive around in those little vehicles that Galoob sells by the ton on some very strange tracks like the bathtub, on the dining table, and so on. You even get to choose your driver from some rather crazy looking characters.
You can start playing Micro Machines the moment you boot it up. There are only three controls that matter (turn left, turn right, and accelerate), and using them is completely intuitive. But learning the controls and mastering them are two different things; it takes many hours of practice to perfect the bumping and sliding techniques necessary for victory, and longer still to discover the subtle intricacies of Micro Machines 2's dozens of tracks.
While the gameplay is excellent, other aspects of Micro Machines 2 are less inspiring. The graphics are clean and sharp, but totally lack the “wow” factor of
The graphics are still classic birds eye view, but they are a bit better than Micro Machines. They are colourful and react with every move.The menu music is good, very lively. Sometimes you might want to watch the demo to hear it. You can beep horns this time which doesn't do much against the computer.
