You must save the Earth from annihilation by an evil threat.

Race against time with Mega Man X and his comrade, Zero. Together you must destroy the evil threat occupying Eurasia to prevent total destruction of the planet Earth. Just when you think that the chaos of the Reploid Wars has passed, a group of cyber-radicals has just broken into Eurasia's artificial gravity device. This has caused the space colony to spin out of control, on a collision course with Earth! Your objective is to collect the parts of the beam cannon, Codename Enigma; get it restarted; and deploy it within the next 24 hours.

Two worlds are in trouble as a group of radicals has hacked into Eurasia's anti-gravity device, and placed it on a collision course with Earth – Mega Man X and Zero have been sent to stop it! As either characters, you have to collect the parts of the secret weapon called Codename – Enigma. If you can get it assembled and deployed in 24 hours, the threat is averted, but there are lots of enemies guarding those. You'll have to defeat vicious bosses to get parts that combine to create new weapons and parts. Help Mega Man save the world yet again!

Battle a legion of dangerous Reploid Robots, discover a myriad of power-ups and defeat an army of mutant Bosses. Steal their energy forces and create all-new weapons…Earth depends on it!
