While hunting, Eric the Swift, Olaf the Stout and Baleog the fierce, were kidnapped by Tomator, the evil Croutonian ruler, who is collecting unique life forms to display in his gallery. The three Vikings will have to combine their unique skills, to defeat Tomator, along with a vast array of aliens, robots, giant snails, big lizards and more.

Vikings is your basic platform game but with a twist. Instead of one character who can jump, run, shoot, collect items, flip switches and so on, you have three different characters, each with its own skills: Eric can jump, run and bash through walls with his tough helmet. Olaf has a shield which can block attacks, function as an air glider or as a step to stand on. Baleog can shoot things with his arrows or kill things with his sword. He can also flip switches from afar by shooting them with an arrow. You will have to use the three Vikings as a team, if you hope to get past the increasingly difficult levels and puzzles.

In Lost Vikings you must strategically guide all three Vikings to the end of each stage in order to progress through the game. One Viking unaccompanied cannot finish any of the levels; they must collaborate. You can alternate between the Vikings, or you and a friend can work together. As you play the game you will find helpful items such as bombs, keys, flaming arrows, targets, gravity boots, and steaks, which renew your energy. Areas to explore include Preshistoria, Egypt, and The Great Factory. There are 43 levels in all.

Their only hope is to find their way, using various hunting skills, through time and space back to Earth.

Just as fun as Lemmings but not as fast-paced, so you actually have time to sit back, enjoy the gameplay, and laugh at the occasional slapstick humor and sly graphics asides.
