Grind Stormer was popular in the arcades, and now it makes its way to the Sega Genesis. Your flying skills will be put to the test as you sit behind the controls of one of the most advanced spaceships in the universe. Through six levels of intense action, you'll be faced with some aggressive and deadly enemies that will even sacrifice their own lives to end yours. But you've got a powerful arsenal of weapons at your disposal, so don't be shy! You will need to use your bombs wisely, though, because you've only got a few to use. If you think you're up to the challenge, then get ready for Grind Stormer and show that alien scum how it's done!

Your ship is armed with a rapid-fire weapon and a limited number of bombs. In the first stage, if you collect a power-up you can pretty much weave back and forth across the screen, destroying most enemies before they can even fully enter the screen. Your insane firepower sometimes makes the game harder, because all the missiles and support cannons tend to confuse the action. Your bombs not only clear the screen, but also provide a protective shield, so use them defensively.

Moving the ship up or down rotates the pods around the main ship, and holding the fire button down locks them into position. Full front pods increase the power of the shot, and full side pods increase weapon range.
