The Emperor's Mahjong is a two thousand year-old Chinese puzzle and one of the world's most popular games. The objective is simple but captivating; match sets of tiles together to clear them from the board and advance through each level in a quest to be ranked Emperor!
The ancient Chinese puzzle game Mahjong goes mobile with an easy interface to match sets of tiles and clear them from the board. In order to succeed on this quest for wisdom, you need to master spheres of knowledge, ascend through levels and collect five gems before a final challenge. Capture the crucial sixth gem and become the Emperor of China!
Emperor's Mahjong uses all the traditional tiles. The seven tile categories are Character, Ball, Bamboo, Dragon, Wind, Season and Flower. The first three categories are numbered from 1–9 with 4 of each number while there are 4 Compass tiles and 3 Dragon tiles and again 4 of each. The last two groups, Season and Flower, have 4 distinct tiles each. Graphically the tiles are represented well with three different choices of how they appear during the game. The tiles are arranged in a pattern stacked atop each other four high and offset from one another. Your object is to select matching tiles, which are free either on the left or the right, eventually removing all the tiles on the board. This sounds a lot easier than it is.

The multi-platform gaming solution! The Emperor's Mahjong features 72 different layouts categorized in six themes. Players can also create and save their own layouts by way of the Layout Editor. Three game modes are available. Traditional Shanghai is the most common game mode, just click on tiles by pairs to remove them from the board. The Traditional Shanghai (2 players) mode is a turn-based cooperative match until the timer determines a winner after the board is cleared. And finally, there's the Emperor's Challenge where players try to reach the rank of Emperor by clearing all 72 levels and accumulating Wisdoms.
