In Dead Man's Hand players take the role of gunslinger El Tejon and embark on a quest of revenge, in this shooter from Atari. El Tejon, the hero of Dead Man's Hand, was betrayed and nearly killed; left for dead by a band of outlaws known only as “The Nine.” As the story unfolds you will pursue members of “The Nine” a gang of ruthless outlaws who betrayed you and left you for dead. Now he must travel the frontier, from the rivers of the East, to the deserts of the South, and the mountains of the North, seeking out each traitor and making him pay. As he proceeds, a selection of authentically modeled Western weapons become available to aid the hero in his grim task, including pistols, rifles, and shotguns, as well as knives, Gatling guns, cannons, and dynamite.

Gunslinging bar brawls horseback action sequences train chases and epic showdowns are just part of the Old West feel in this bona fide “period piece” adventure. For the first time ever you can experience the best elements of the Western genre brought straight from the silver screen to your PC.

Developed by Human Head Studios (Rune), the game runs on a state-of-the-art version of Epic Games' Unreal Engine and boasts detailed graphics at a smooth frame rate.
